Amazing Places

I've been wanting to do a travel album for quite some time. I knew it was going to take some work to gather all the photos from our many years together. To keep it simple, I just picked a few highlight photos from five vacations. (Actually six trips, because I added a couple of photos from my husband's visit to The Great Wall.) I started with a Basic Grey Capture album and the world stamp from Cocoa Daisy as my jumping point. I titled it, "Amazing Places" because that's how I feel about each of these locations. I mixed brand new products with some really old stuff from my stash and I truly love how this project came together. If you'd like to see the details, click on the photos to enlarge.


What a trip down memory lane! I still need to add my journaling, but the hard part is done. After completing this, I feel humbled and grateful for this amazing journey called "life" - I just want to appreciate each and every moment. I've also been bitten by the travel bug! lol

    Great mini, love your full page photos and the variety of alphas you used! I'm also keeping a mini of our travel highlights/memorabilia and can't wait for our next adventure!

    What a stunning book, wow! Love how you did the full photos of Paris, SF, NYC on the left pages. The orange and blue accents/papers really create a common thread for showcasing your photos from many years past. Beautiful!

    What a great idea, I think I always think of doing a travel album as one place in particular but your idea of several places and only a few of each is great. You must be over the moon on how it's turned out, it looks fabulous

    Wow! I love your album. You have displayed the pictures and places in such a good way. I really feel inspired to do something similar now. You will probably look and amaze yourself when looking in this in years coming.

    I love this idea. We didn't travel at all this summer, which was leaving me kind of bummed, but this might be nice way to remember all the other places we have been.

      We had very little vacation time this year, too. I think this helped ease the pain of that.

    What a super idea! I love that this mini includes multiple destinations! I should do this too, but we never go anywhere, hahaha! ;)
    That stamp on the cover is too cool... looks just perfect.
