Amusement Park Adventure

When I received the Cocoa Daisy August Kit, I knew it would be perfect for our Kings Island photos. Check out the cute little die cut in the shape of Ohio -- I have all 50 states thanks to Stephanie from Cocoa Daisy! The hardest part was finding the right state. lol I have all kinds of ideas for these little gems!
I adore these Heidi Swapp words that came in the kit. They add such a fun element to the page!
I can't believe how in a few short months, our son has turned from the cautious one to an adrenaline junkie. That's what I get for teaching him to overcome his dread of coasters! lol
I have to admit, these pictures still make me slightly nauseated. My husband let our daughter ride The Slingshot and I believe it scarred her for life! The good news is that I believe her thrill-seeking days are over, for now.
This was truly a day to remember and I'm so happy to have it documented! I do have a few more layouts to complete from our adventure in the park -- I hope you come back to check those out, as well!

  1. Wow...you wouldn't catch me dead on the slingshot...or maybe you would. I'd have died of fright! LOVE how you included the closeup circle.

  2. You're right, the kit was PERFECT for those photos. I love amusement parks but can't ride most of the rides because of my heart issues. It makes me rather grumpy. So enjoy them for me :)

    We had season passes to Kings Island last year and my 10 year olds both rode the Diamondback, I couldn't even watch them! LOL. We love that park! {In fact I work in Mason and can see the Eiffel Tower from my office window-lol}
